This air purifier has served me well over the past 3 years. It’s not the cheapest air cleaner I know of, but it is worth the money if you can afford it and you suffer from allergies as much as I do. The carbon filters need to be replaced every 2-4 months depending on your air quality. However, you can wash the main filter in the dishwasher which I think is an amazing convenience that makes the extra cost well worth it. It costs almost five hundred dollars, but that’s about the same cost as a couple Ionic Breezes. However, the reason I like this better is that it is supposed to put out less Ozone which is something I worry about. O3 is not something that was ever intended by God for you to breathe through your lunds and as such it’s harmful effects are highly debated. I don’t want to take my chances with that.

The Ionic Breeze has changed my life. I have suffered from allergies most of my adult life. I couldn’t sleep at night because my nose would plug up and breathing through my mouth made my mouth dry out and I’d wake up and have to go get a drink of water. The Ionic Breeze has changed all this and I know breeze easily through my nose. And, the best thing about it is that I don’t need to take any medications with side effects that are unkown and potentially deadly. The ozone guard is something that I have read is very important. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve heard the Ionic Breeze without this can put out some harmful O3 which doesn’t sound like something I want to gamble my lung health with. I was put off by their commercials that tried to claim that the ozone comes from outside. This may be true, but much more of it is generated by the air cleaner itself. But, despite the fact that I don’t like Sharper Image’s deceptive marketing, the Ionic Breeze is a very good air cleaner that I would recomend.

This is an amazing machine. I never imagined an air cleaner could detect when the air needs cleaning and only go on when it is needed. The Plasma Cluster is perfect for my family who seems to get sick more than our fair share. Our kids go to daycare and pick things up, but they don’t spread it around because of this thing kills the germs in the air. I very much like the remote control which is a luxury I did not have with my old air cleaner.

Don’t let the price fool you. I was skeptical when I bought this air cleaner that it might not clean the air. It looked like it would be cheap and I would get what I paid for. I picked it up used on a classified ads website in my local town. It turned out to be worth the money. It’s not the quietest fan, but it’s not that noisy either. For a cheap air cleaner it works well to help me with my allergies. I don’t have to take my allegra half as often now which is a good thing because I don’t have health insurance and it’s expensive. The filtrete filter by 3M that it requires every 2 months is relatively inexpensive to replace as well. It keeps the dust and dander out of the air in my bedroom and I seem to sleep better because of that. When my nose gets plugged up at night I have a hard time sleeping. Thanks to this little angel, I sleep like a baby most of the time now.

This is one of the best air cleaners I have come across in it’s price range. It’s the only air cleaner I use in the main area of my home and it does a good job. I haven’t been sick for a long time and I’m thinking it’s partly due to the feature that destroys things like mold, fungi, viri, and bacterias. The ultrviolet light keeps these nasty germs out of my immune system and I really think it makes a difference in my overall health. The remote control is also a unique and very much appreciated feature that I have come to believe I can’t live without.

This air cleaner works great for me. I use it in my office which is a small 10×10 room and it’s plenty air cleaner for that space. However, it’s a little more noisy than I would have liked. Thankfully, I actually like the “white noise” it produces at night as it seems to help me sleep, but I’m not sure everyone would feel the same way so I thought I’d mention that.
